Wild Willys Airboat Tours in St. Cloud FL

We offer amazing full one hour tours starting a 9:00am, 7 days a week!

You’ll love our narrated tours on 23,000 acres of beautiful Lake Toho aboard our coast guard approved airboats with our fully insured licensed captains. Our sleeker, faster 6 passenger boats can offer a more personal tour and our newly added 14 passenger boat can accommodate larger groups!

The great thing about our central location is that we can change our route throughout the year. Our rides actually depend a lot on the water temperature. On our “winter tours” (Nov – April), the water is cooler and the gators stay on top to absorb the heat. During the month of May, they’re here and there because it’s mating season. On our “summer tours” (June – Oct), the water temperature is hot and gators tend to stay under the water to get away from the heat. These months we go a different path into shady areas to see gators.

We have 4 beautiful baby gators (Cricket, Sergio, Blue and Splash) in our aquarium to hold and take pictures with you at no additional charge. Be sure and bring your camera! And don’t worry, our captains show you exactly how to hold them. Say cheese!

Reservations are best. We have a lot of walk-ins and we don’t want you to wait any longer than you have to. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a non-smoking back deck where you can eat, drink and snack all while surrounding yourself with nature.

Wild Willy's also serves food! After your tour, grab a bite at Headwater's Take-Out. Be adventurous and try our World Famous Gator Bites! Buttermilk and hot sauce marinated pieces of alligator meat, tenderized and fried golden brown. For the rest of you, choose from cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, French fries and more, dressed the way you like it! (Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week, subject to change). We have a store on-site where we accept credit cards, sell t-shirts, hats, gator souvenirs, soda, cold beer, ice and a few snacks.

Come on out and try something different! Most people have never been on an airboat ride, much less held a real live alligator. Some have said, “It feels like flying without ever leaving the ground!” Others have commented, “It’s like a magic carpet ride!”

PLEASE CALL FOR DIRECTIONS: GPS GIVES YOU AN EXIT NUMBER OFF THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE THAT IS SUNPASS ONLY, NO CASH. CALL SO YOU'RE NOT LATE AND POSSIBLY MISS YOUR TOUR TIME!

St. Augustine Old Jail in St. Augustine FL

Home to prisoners for over 60 years, the Old Jail in St. Augustine looks more like a resort than a maximum-security facility. The original structure was built in 1891 by Henry Flagler, and although it has been restored and renovated throughout the years, it looks very much the way it did when it opened over a century ago.
Today, visitors to the Old Jail can take a guided tour, learn about the many prisoners and practices that took place here and see where the Sheriff and his wife and family lived— adjacent to where the prisoners were housed.

Meet Sheriff Joe Perry who had a reputation as being a harsh and strict warden – one of the toughest in the South. Walk through the men’s and women’s cells and see where executions took place in the gallows. Discover the history behind judicial practices in the 19th century and see an array of weapons and artifacts.

Adults and children are thoroughly entertained by our costumed actors who portray deputies from the early days and everyone gets a chance to try and escape! The Old Jail is one of just a few prisons of its kind still standing and makes for a great sightseeing and history adventure.

Villa Zorayda Museum in St. Augustine FL

After several years of historical renovation, the Villa Zorayda with its collection of unique antiquities is a must see on your visit to our nations oldest city!

Closed for several years the Villa Zorayda Museum has undergone an extensive renovation and is once again open to the public as a museum. On the National Register of Historic Places it was built in 1883 as the winter residence of Franklin Smith utilizing his method of construction of poured concrete and crushed coquina shell. It is built 1/10th the scale of a section of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. This building set a precedence for St. Augustine and began the Moorish Spanish revival of architecture that is seen throughout the city today. In 1904 it became the Zorayda Club.

On display for the first time ever is the custom made bone china made exclusively for the Zorayda Club. In 1913 it was purchased by Abraham S. Mussallem, an authority on Oriental rugs, fine arts and Egyptian artifacts. In 1922 it became one of the most fashionable places for casino gambling. In the mid 1930's it was opened as a museum featuring the priceless antique collections of both Franklin Smith and A.S. Mussallem which are still on display today. The 45-60 minute tour gives an in depth look at the historical significance of the building to the City of St. Augustine, the magnificent architecture as well as descriptions of the many exquisite pieces you will see. On display is the "Sacred Cat Rug" over 2400 years old and made from the hairs of ancient cats that roamed the Nile River. Taken from a pyramid in Egypt it is said to possess a curse for anyone that walks on it!

VILLA ZORAYDA "BEHIND THE SCENES'/AUDIO GUIDED TOUR AVAILABLE
Visitors will be taken to rarely seen areas of the museum where we will give an explanation of what the area was used for in the past and what future plans may be coming. Cambridge, Massachusetts - January 23, 2015
“Nitr0,” heard the name? If you haven’t, you’re about to learn. In fact, all of America might soon find it plastered across their TV screens. Nitr0 is the world’s greatest hacker, he’s successfully completed over 300 cyber crimes, yet the FBI doesn’t have any leads to his identity. Early this morning a video was received at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. Nitr0 informed the Bureau of his plan to release a virus that will drain 100 million United States bank accounts of over $75 billion.
You are FBI Agent Alex Vargas, a fresh face in the Cyber Crime Unit. Fueled by optimism and a need for success, you determine that taking down Nitr0 would be the best way climb the ladder to the top. You’ve received an anonymous lead, apparently Nitr0 has been tracked to an apartment in Cambridge. It’s a long shot, but it’s the only thing you’ve got.
You arrive outside and discover what looks to be an average American college apartment. A powerful clack comes from the door, it’s been sealed shut. The television turns on and Nitr0 himself appears on the screen. He tells you that he was the one who tipped you off about the location, he’s setting you up and in one hour the FBI will trace everything back to you in this apartment. The realization is setting in, the biggest virtual heist in history is about to be pinned on you.
You know that Nitr0 always provides a kill code for every crime in case things go awry. You must find that code, kill the program and escape within the hour. So you don’t take the fall for the biggest crime in American history.

    SHANGHAIED
    Hong Kong, December 26, 1848.
You have been relaxing in Hong Kong harbour celebrating Christmas and a friendly man has befriended you and started to buy you drinks. That is the last thing you remember that night.
The next day you wake aboard the huge 3-masted 800-ton Chinese ship called the Keying that has set sail on the arduous and risk filled journey to the United States and Britain around the perilous Cape Horn.
You quickly realize that you have been fooled by the King of the Crimps, Joseph "Bunko" Kelly and forcefully drafted to work with the ships company of 12 British and 30 Cantonese sailors.

    CUBAN CRISIS
    Havana Cuba, October 28 1962
You are Don Frederico, a CIA Field Operative, your code name is Gerrard “Gerry” Droller and you work directly for the President of the United States, J.F. Kennedy.
While going over your mission notes, you realize the world is facing a nuclear Armageddon. The Soviet Union, under Premier Nikita Kruschev, has strategically assigned ballistic nuclear missiles to the Cuban territory with approval from the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro.
These missiles are located less than 100 miles from the U.S and are able to reach major cities with only a 4 minute flight time. The atmosphere is extremely tense!
An American spy plane has just been shot down over Cuba and the President is now under massive pressure from the Pentagon to launch an invasion of Cuba. The President, however, isn’t sure whether the plane was shot down deliberately by the Cubans or the Soviets, or if this was a terrible accident by a lowly soldier.
If this was indeed an accident, there is no need to go to war, and a peaceful solution may still be possible. If this was a deliberate action, then the President has no choice but to launch a U.S. invasion of Cuba, which could result in a nuclear war.
Your mission is to infiltrate Fidel Castro’s palace, locate the secret KGB office, and find out who was responsible for shooting down the American plane.
You are standing outside Castro’s palace waiting to hear that it is empty. You receive the all clear. Castro’s bodyguards and the KGB are not on the premises.
However, having entered the Palace, you receive word that Castro and his bodyguards are traveling back towards the palace, and they are only 60 minutes away! You must complete your mission and escape before you are caught!
Solve the clues, answer the riddles, find the critical intelligence and get out within the hour. Rely on your intuition, have confidence in your team and leave no stone unturned! Remember: Your mind is your most powerful weapon and time is of the essence! Do you have what it takes to complete your mission?

Looking out from the window of the saloon, you see 5 outlaws riding into town on their horses and heading toward the saloon, including the notorious Billy Clanton and Frank McLaury.

    Central Europe, February 25th 1931
Onboard the famous trans-European Budapest Express, you are with Karine Peaufiner, a famous French detective from Paris. You are traveling to Budapest to meet with other detectives showcasing the latest developments in crime scene forensics.
It is nighttime and you are passing slowly through the heart of Europe during a heavy snowstorm. You are reviewing case notes in your cabin with Karine and your colleagues. Suddenly there is a knock at the door, it is the train manager. He looks worried and asks you to come quickly to the First Class dining coach.
When you arrive, you see a man slumped over a restaurant table. He was Sir Clarence Hayden and he has been murdered!

Lightner Museum in St. Augustine FL

Enjoy wandering through the museum's setting — the former Hotel Alcazar, built in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance style. Railroad magnate Henry M. Flagler commissioned architects Carrere and Hastings to design the Alcazar and the Ponce de Leon Hotel (across the street). The two young architects later designed the New York Public Library and the U.S. Senate office building. After years of accommodating vacationing wealthy patrons, the elegant resort hotel closed.

Chicago publisher, Otto C. Lightner, purchased the building to house his extensive collection of Victoriana in 1946 and opened the museum two years later.

He gave the museum to the city of St. Augustine. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Antique mechanical musical demonstrations are offered twice a day at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Scavenger hunts are available for children.

The Lightner Museum is located in historic downtown St. Augustine, Florida. It is 20 minutes from I-95, one hour from Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, and two hours from Disney World, Epcot Center and Cape Canaveral. The museum is handicapped and wheelchair accessible.

A wonderful time awaits you at the Fountain of Youth. Visitors can:
•See the stars in our Planetarium,
    •Visit our Native Timucua Village,
    •Watch a Cannon firing,
•Marvel at Spanish Exploration on our two-story high Discovery Globe,
•Learn about the Birthplace of European America,
•Stroll through a waterfront park where peacocks strut and shady oaks beckon you to stay,
•Visit the snack bar, picnic under the oaks,
•You can even drink from the legendary waters and see if your visit grants you the secret to eternal youth.

We welcome families and couples, corporate retreats and wedding parties. We have the area to handle groups and are prepared to make you, the visitor, feel as if you are an integral part of our beautiful park. If you are planning a family reunion or other gathering, consider using this inviting setting to make the special day a success.

This is where Florida and America's History all began!

The Timucua Indian Village of Seloy existed here for almost 4,000 years before the arrival of the Spanish in 1513, and with Ponce de Leon's claim of possession for the Spanish King in 1513, "La Florida" was born. No other Spanish colonies that followed were successful...until the arrival of Pedro Menendez de Aviles on September 8, 1565.

Over the last 100 years, many thousands of guests have visited The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park in order to sip the world famous waters and hear the history behind its legendary benefits.

See the stars in our Planetarium. Visit our Native Timucua Village. Watch a Cannon firing. Marvel at Spanish Exploration on our two story high Discovery Globe. Learn about the Birthplace of European America.

Our ample parking is free and we are a pet friendly attraction. Don't forget to feed the peacocks and squirrels! See you soon.

Key West Aquarium in Key West FL

The Key West Aquarium is Key West’s first attraction and was built by the WPA during the Depression. The facility took two years to complete and opened on February 18, 1935. It was the first aquarium in the world to use the open air concept allowing for natural sunlight to illuminate the concrete marine displays. One of its original purposes was a marine repository for other aquariums from around the country.

In 1943 the US Government leased the Key West Aquarium to the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard who used it as a rifle range. In 1946 the Aquarium was returned to the city of Key West and restored to its former glory. In the 1960's the roof was added to the once opened air aquarium to cut down on algae in the exhibits. More modern methods of illuminating the tanks were slowly being developed and with it came the end of the open air aquarium.

Today, the Key West Aquarium is home to sharks, turtles, stingrays, tropical and other various fish found in the beautiful waters of Key West. It is actively involved in conservation of the delicate eco- system of the Florida Keys.

    Aquarium Highlights:

  • Daily shark and turtle feedings and the Touch Tank offer guests hands on experience with the sea life of the surrounding waters.
  • The Aquarium features a wide variety of fish including grouper, moray eels, barracuda, tropical fish, tarpon, parrotfish and much, much more.

Revolution Off-Road Trophy Bass Fishing in Clermont FL

This sporting fish is famous for both its size and fighting capabilities, and is so sought after that we felt duty bound to include it in our experience packages. Why? Because our 60-acre lake is one of the finest private lakes in Florida. Established over 30 years ago it is stocked to become one of the best “Trophy bass fishing” lakes in the State. Of course, apart from Bass you may also catch one of a number of other types of fish, such as Croppies, Snook or Bowfin.
On the Revolution Lake we take pride in catering for all comers, first time fisherman or seasoned veterans. Our staff will share their knowledge and local experience to ensure that you have a memorable day

On our boats you will find everything you need to give you the best chance of landing you that trophy Bass - rods, reels, hooks and artificial baits are all included. Our guides will take you to the hot spots and give you as much help as you need. Of course you are always welcome to bring your own rod and equipment and your favorite lures. Drinking water and life jackets are provided.
We are advocates of C.P.R. (Catch, Photograph and Release) and our boats are fitted with their own digital cameras to capture the moment of you with your catch and we’ll happily e-mail or print you a photograph of your catch for a small additional fee.

So book your fishing trip now and get ready for some rod bending excitement.
You will of course need the right clothes to wear, soft shoes like trainers, shorts/trousers, shirt and a hat. Sun screen is highly recommended and if you are early or late in the day you may need a light jacket or sweater to keep the chill off.

We provide a 4 hour fishing and 6 hour fishing experience. The price includes the cost of 2 people and you can add one more person to each boat.
